H2H Challenges: Transportation

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my blog! I've done a lot of traveling this year and this summer is full of more days away from home. So I decided to highlight my favorite form of transportation. I also had some family members that visited this weekend and I thought that this week's theme gave me the inspiration to the card I am sending them off with.  This week's Heart2Heart Challenges theme is "Transportation", says a lot doesn't it? I created a Bon Voyage card using the "Sight Seer" stamp set along with some Sapphire Ink and card stock.  I love using stamp images to create my own background and I thought that the globe image is the perfect element for my card.

Here's a list of the tools and products used to create this card:
  • Sight Seer Stamp Set
  • White Daisy Cardstock
  • Sapphire Cardstock
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad
  • Sapphire Ink Pad
  • Gold Foil Tape
  • Adhesive
  • 1 1/4" Circle Punch
  • Circuit Machine (Image was from Design Space Library)

Heart2Heart Challenges: National Scrapbook Month

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my blog! This week's Heart2Heart Challenges theme is dedicated to National Scrapbooking Month! This month, I encourage everyone to take some time to work on your families memories.  The two-page layout I created was inspired by pattern #7 from the Make it from your heart volume 1 book from Close To My Heart.  I used the Georgie patterned paper to create this fun two-page layout of last year's Scrapbook Expo.  The title was a laser cut embellishment that I purchased at the expo.  The butterflies were from Sunshine Birdies Stamp of the Month.

Here's a list of the tools and products used to create this card:
  • Georgie B&T Patterned Paper (includes coordinating card stock used)
  • Sunshine Birdies (SOTM)
  • Diagonal Striped Ribbon
  • Green Paper Flowers
  • White Enamels
  • Laser Cut Embellishment (Title)
  • Tape Runner
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Black Journaling Pen
  • Black Ink Pad
