Heart2Heart Challenges Trending Now

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my blog! This week's Heart2Heart Challenges theme is all about the today's paper crafting trends! There are so many new techniques and products released almost on a daily basis but one particular trend that I found to be a favorite is the "Shaker Card".  I created this fun Birthday "Shaker Card" using the Kaleidoscope B&T Paper Packet and the Birthday Princess Stamp Set. I designed the shaker card window on Cricut Design Space by using a rectangle shape and slicing a smaller rectangle on the inside to create the window.  To create the background, I used the new Eggplant and Peacock Inks along with a foam blender to add color on the White Daisy Cardstock. The stars and the princess were all embossed using Versamark and Versafine Ink Pads, Embossing Powders and Heat Tool.

Here's a list of the tools and products used to create this card:
  • Kaleidoscope B&T Paper Pack
  • Birthday Princess Stamp Set
  • White Daisy Cardstock
  • Gypsy Cardstock
  • Clear Acetate Paper
  • Eggplant Ink Pad
  • Peacock Ink Pad
  • Stazon Black Ink Pad
  • Versamark Ink Pad
  • Versafine Black Onyx Ink Pad
  • Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder
  • Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder
  • Assorted ShinHan Touch Twin Markers
  • 3D Foam Tape or Foam Squares
  • Tape Runner or Scor-Tape
  • Assorted Sequins and Seed Beads
  • Cricut Machine or Die Cutting Machine (to create window)
I hope you like today's project, don't forget to visit the rest of the Heart2Heart design team members to see what they've created for this weeks challenge. If you would like to enter a project for this week's challenge, please visit us on Facebook or at www.heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com.
