"Thank You Cards"

This month's stamp set is the star of my feature Thank You card for the month of September.  My mind was going in circles when I was designing with this stamp set, there was a great selection of beautiful images and I couldn't decide how I was going to use them.

I created these cards using the resist embossing technique, by embossing the image, the colors I used to blend in the background did not affect my image. To create this resist, I used some Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.

Here's a video to show the technique I used to create this card.

Tools: Trimmer, Scissors, Heat Tool, Acrylic Blocks, Foam Blender

Stamps: Paper Garden (S1509) and Banner Wishes (B1438)

CTMH Products Used:

  • Smoothie Cardstock
  • Thistle Cardstock
  • Sweet Leaf Cardstock
  • Glacier Cardstock
  • White Daisy Cardstock
  • Smoothie Ink Pad
  • Thistle Ink Pad
  • Sweet Leaf Ink Pad
  • Glacier ink Pad
  • Versamark Ink Pad
  • Black Ink Pad
  • ShinHan Touch Twin Markers (P282, RP198, GY234 & B68)
  • Tape Runner
  • Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder

Here are the individual cards I created using the Paper Garden Stamp Set:

And this is the inside of the card:

I recommend using CTMH Liquid Glass or Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the layers and 3-D Foam tape to give the accent dimensions. Feel free to add your own touch to this fun and easy thank you card.
