Attach the 12"X4" piece to the left page layout and add the bottom strip at the inner edge of the border. Adhere the 12" X 5" to the right side of the right page layout base using the opposite side of the paper packet.
  3. Title - The "Sweet Moments" title was created on the Cricut Design Space using the Artbooking Cartridge and Cooper Black System Font. Here's the link to the title I created on Design Space <Click Here>
  4. Photo 1 - Cut a 3" X 3" Pear card stock and add photo (trim to 2.75" X 2.75").  I stamped the "cutie pie" sentiment on a White Daisy card stock using the Pacifica Pigment Ink and added the Ranger clear embossing powder.  I used a craft heater to set the embossed image.  I cut the sentiment and added a mat using Pacifica card stock.
  5. Photo 2 & 3 - On the left side scrapbook page, cut a 10" X 7" piece of Pear card stock and stamp using one of the cup cake stamp images in Pear Ink to create a back ground image.  Add (2) 4" X 6" photos.  I stamped (2) of the cupcake images and colored using ShinHan Alcohol Markers.  I added a red sequin to the top of each cup cake and used the Clear Wink of Stella Brush Markers to add some shimmer to the cup cakes.
  6. Photo 4, 5 & 6 - On the right side scrapbook page, cut a 10" X 8" piece of Pear card stock and stamp using one of the cup cake stamp images in Pear Ink to create a back ground image.  Add (3) 5" X 3.5" photos.
  7. Accents - I stamped the "sweetest" on a White Daisy card stock using the Pacifica Pigment Ink and added the Ranger clear embossing powder.  I used a craft heater to set the embossed image.I cut the sentiment and added a mat using Pacifica card stock.  I cut (2 ) banners using pink glitter paper and adhered to the right side of the layout.  For the "hey there cupcake" I stamped the image on a Pear card stock using the Hollyhock Pigment Ink and added the Ranger clear embossing powder.  I used a craft heater to set the embossed image. I cut the sentiment and added a mat using black card stock to create the banner. I stamped (1) of the cupcake images and colored using ShinHan Alcohol Markers.  I added a red sequin to the top of thecup cake and used the Clear Wink of Stella Brush Markers to add some shimmer to the cup cake.
  8. Sentiment -  I stamped the "Everywhere you go.." sentiment on a White Daisy card stock using the Hollyhock Pigment Ink and added the Ranger clear embossing powder.  I used a craft heater to set the embossed image. I cut the sentiment into a 3 X 3 box and added a mat using pacifica card stock and layered another mat using the Brushed paper packet paper. I finished the sentiment by stamping the heart image and colored it with Dark Pink Wink of Stella and adding liquid glass on top of the image to create a 3-d effect.
I recommend using CTMH Liquid Glass or Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the layers and 3-D Foam tape to give the accent frame dimensions. Feel free to add your own touch to this quick and easy scrapbook layout.

Cricut Sketch Thursday: Thanksgiving Label Card

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and thought I should create one more thanksgiving card to share with everyone. On today's sketch I used Close to my Heart's Art Philosophy and Artbooking cricut cartridges.

This simple but elegant thanksgiving card can be made in a variety of colors, just add your personal touch by using embellishments and printed paper.

Cricut Cartridge: Close To My Heart Art Philosophy and Artbooking

Materials Used: Colonial White, Chocolate (or Brown Kraft), Topiary, Gold Rush, Black and Honey Card Stock

Tools: Adhesive and Cricut Machine

Assembly Guide:
  1. Card Base -  I used the Chocolate card stock (I also recommend Brown Kraft) to cut the card base from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  Score the center and fold in half.
  2. Outside Layer -  Cut the Flourish Background Image from the Art Philosophy Cartridge (M42CC24) in Colonial White Cardstock at .50" smaller than the card base and adhere to the Chocolate Card Base
  3. Title - Cut the fancy label using from the Art Philosophy Cartridge in Black card stock.  I recommend using stamps for the greeting instead of cutting the letters on your cricut.  To create a chalk board look, use Close to my heart's White Daisy or Colonial White Pigment Inks.
  4. Accent - Cut the pumpkins and vine using the Artbooking Cartridge.  The card stock colors recommended can be substituted with patterned or glitter paper.
  5.  Card Inside - Using Colonial White Card Stock I cut another card base .25" smaller, cut in center and adhere to inside of card base.
  6. I recommend using CTMH Liquid Glass or Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the layers and foam dots to give the accent and title some dimensions.
If you have the Cricut Explore machine, here's the link to the project alterations from Cricut Design Space

Reminder - you have to own the cartridges to cut the images from Design Space.

Cricut Cartridge: Close To My Heart Artiste and Artfully Sent

  2. Outside Layer -  Cut the Cup Sentiment Card Image from the Artfully Sent Cartridge (M100D09) in Lagoon Cardstock at 7.75" X 5.25" and adhere to the Chocolate Card Base
  3. Title - Cut the Banner in Chocolate Card Stock and a second Banner for top layer.  Cut "Thank You" using Artfully Sent Font in Lagoon Card Stock.  Adhere Banner Titlte to the front of the card using 3D Foam Tape.
  4. Gift Card Insert - Using the artiste cartridge, I cut the gift card insert in Lagoon Card stock (image#M4630E) and adhered to the inside of the card.

Cricut Sketch Thursday: Baby Girl Card

This simple baby girl card can be used for a baby shower or congratulating someone on the birth of their new baby.  I designed the card on the Cricut Design Space using images from Close To My Heart's Artiste, Artbooking and Artfully Sent Cartridges.  You can make this card in a variety of sizes and add your personal touch by using embellishments and printed paper.

Cricut Cartridge: Close To My Heart Artiste, Artbooking and Artfully Sent

Materials Used: White Daisy, Hollyhock, Gypsy and Smoothie Card Stock

Tools: Adhesive and Cricut Machine

Assembly Guide:

  1. Card Base - Using the Artiste cartridge, I used the Notebook Image #M3AFCD.  I duplicated the image and hid the contours on the second copy.  I then welded both images together and added a score line in the center and cut using Smoothie card stock.
  2. Inside Layer -  Cut another piece of the Notebook Image #M3AFCD with hidden contours in Gypsy card stock and adhere to the inside of the card.
  3. Layer 1 - Using the Artbooking cartridge, cut the scalloped "Square" image #M40F7A in White Daisy Card stock.  I used the carriage image from the Artfully Sent cartridge and used the slice feature to cut the image in the White Daisy Card stock.
  4. Title - Cut the "Baby Girl" title using Hollyhock card stock.

I recommend using CTMH Liquid Glass or Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the layers and foam dots to give the accent and title some dimensions.  Feel free to add your own touch to the card.
