Hopscotch Scrapbook Layout

The new Seasonal Expressions catalog is here and I am loving the Hopscotch Paper Packet.  I created a two page layout using the Hopscotch Paper Packet and Compliments along with the new "A Bunch of Thanks" stamp set.

Assembly Guide:
  1. Base - Use a 12X12 patterned paper from the Hopscotch paper packet.  For this layout, I used the printed paper with a subtle green on one side and the colorful arrows on the other side.
  2.  Layer 1 - Using the "blue print" side (off white with green sketches) of the blue patterned paper, trim (2) 4" X 12" pieces (ink edges using glacier ink pad if desired) and adhere one 1/2" from the left side of page one and the other to page two 1/2" from the bottom of the page.
  3. Border - Cut (2)- 4" X 12" of the Flaxen card stock.  Using the swirl stamp from the "Bunch of Thanks" stamp set and Flaxen pigment ink, stamp the image to create the back ground.  Use the Ranger Clear Embossing powder and a craft tool to heat set the embossed image. Adhere one on 1/2" from the left side of page one and the other 1/2" from the bottom of page two.

  4. Cut (2) 2" X 12" of the Blue patterned paper (ink edges as desired) and adhered to the center of the Flaxen card stock.  Wrap Extra Thick Flaxen Twine over the borders and tie a bow.  Add "Best Day Ever" sticker from the Hopscotch complements (use 3D foam tape). Adhere on the center of the border of page one.  Adhere the second piece of blue patterned paper 1/2" from the bottom of the green border, add the "Love This" sticker and the honeycomb border 1/2" above the blue patterned paper.
  5. Photo 1 - Trim Glacier card stock at 5.25" X 7.25", add the tab sticker from the complements sticker sheet, you can fit a 5"X7" photo on this photo mat.
  6. Photo 2 & 3 - Trim Glacier card stock at 5.5" X 7.5", add the tab sticker from the complements sticker sheet, (2) 2.5" X 3.5" will fit on this photo mat.
  7. Accents Page 1 - Stamp (5) assorted vases (slate Ink) and (5) of large flower (black archival ink) and (5) small flowers (black archival ink) on patterned paper (fuzzy cut).  Arrange at the bottom of page one, stamp leaves using New England Ivy ink pad, add blue leaf Puffies .  Use 3D foam tape to layer the flowers and add bitty sparkles to the center of flowers.  Use black archival ink to stamp "All things grow with love" and "Best Buds" on page one of the layout.
  8. Accents Page 2 - Use stickers from complements sticker sheet on the left side border of page two. Add puffies to the center of the flower stickers to add dimension.
I recommend using CTMH Liquid Glass or Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the layers and 3-D Foam tape to give the accent frame dimensions. Feel free to add your own touch to this quick and easy scrapbook layout.

I hope you like this layout as much as I enjoyed creating it.  Don't forget that some of the products used on this project are only available through March 31, 2014.  If you have any questions regarding the products used or need assistance with the instructions, feel free to e-mail me at luvz2scrapbook@gmail.com
