This simple baby girl card can be used for a
baby shower or congratulating someone on the birth of their new baby. I
designed the card on the Cricut Design Space using images from Close To My
Heart's Artiste, Artbooking and Artfully Sent Cartridges. You can make
this card in a variety of sizes and add your personal touch by using
embellishments and printed paper.
Cricut Cartridge: Close To My Heart Artiste, Artbooking and Artfully Sent
Materials Used: White Daisy, Hollyhock, Gypsy and Smoothie Card Stock
Tools: Adhesive and Cricut Machine
Assembly Guide:
- Card Base - Using the Artiste cartridge, I used the Notebook Image #M3AFCD. I duplicated the image and hid the contours on the second copy. I then welded both images together and added a score line in the center and cut using Smoothie card stock.
- Inside Layer - Cut another piece of the Notebook Image #M3AFCD with hidden contours in Gypsy card stock and adhere to the inside of the card.
- Layer 1 - Using the Artbooking cartridge, cut the scalloped "Square" image #M40F7A in White Daisy Card stock. I used the carriage image from the Artfully Sent cartridge and used the slice feature to cut the image in the White Daisy Card stock.
- Title - Cut the "Baby Girl" title using Hollyhock card stock.
I recommend using CTMH Liquid Glass or Bonding Memories glue pen to adhere the layers and foam dots to give the accent and title some dimensions. Feel free to add your own touch to the card.
